This Donor Privacy Policy applies to the collection of information, including information collected on our website. By submitting your information to us or any of our staff, you consent to the terms and conditions of the policy and to our processing personal information for the purposes stated below.

 

Ability Dogs of Arizona (ADAZ) is committed to respecting the privacy of their donors. ADAZ publishes this Policy to make donors aware of its donor privacy policy, and to inform donors of the way their information is used. ADAZ does not sell, rent or exchange donors' personal information.

 

Ability Dogs of Arizona uses donors' personal information for its internal purposes only, to advance the charitable mission and activities of ADAZ. These are the types of personal information that ADAZ collects and maintains:

 

·      Contact information: name, address, phone number, email address.

·      Gift amount, date, and any gift restrictions requested by the donor.

·      Sales related to fundraising events such as event tickets, raffle tickets, auction items, etc.

·      Requests to receive event invitations, e-newsletters, and other periodic updates.  Requests to be removed from its mailing list.

 

Ability Dogs of Arizona uses this information to understand donors' needs, to provide better service, and to offer alternative methods for donors to express their support for the mission of ADAZ. Specifically, ADAZ uses information to help donors complete their transactions, to communicate with donors, to update donors on events and achievements by ADAZ, to report to relevant U.S. and State agencies as required, to provide information on volunteer opportunities, and to contact donors periodically to determine their interest in providing additional support for ADAZ. All access to donor financial information is strictly limited to professional staff who need to process those data. No such data are given to any person, organization, or group who does not need to access those data. ADAZ only uses online payment processing services with world class security and strong reputations. Information on the processing services we use is displayed on our website, www.abilitydogsaz.org.

 

Ability Dogs of Arizona does not store or have access to your credit card information, bank account numbers, or other accounting data sent to those processing services. On occasion, ADAZ lists the names of its donors in its annual report or other publications. Donors may contact ADAZ to request that they not be included in such lists. It is ADAZ’s desire not to send unwanted mail to its donors. Donors may contact ADAZ if they wish to be removed from its mailing list, and/or update or correct any of their contact information.
